Kaiju Task Force: Code Omega – Season One, Book 1 was my chance to go back and do a soft reboot to the Kaiju Task Force lore. I love my stories, but at the time, I had no idea what I was doing—I was just winging it. Since then, I've learned so much, and I wanted to take the opportunity to redo things better. So, I hope you forgive me as I attempt to give you a better story. On Earth 856, a world where dinosaurs never went extinct and Kaiju reign supreme, Omega, the Queen of the Ocean, prepares to bring forth the next generation of her royal bloodline.

let me tell you about Ivan—the world's absolute worst best dog ever. Honestly, I blame myself for this one. I made the colossal mistake of watching Marley & Me with him when he was a puppy. Big mistake. Huge. He must've seen Marley as his life coach or spiritual guide because, wow, Ivan isn't just following in Marley's paw prints—he's sprinting past them while setting the house on fire.

The Kaiju Task Force has been dealt a crushing blow. Reese and Norah, along with their mother Jessica, stand amidst the wreckage of Long Island, mourning the loss of their brother Blake and their father, David. The echoes of the relentless ocean mirror their sorrow, as guilt and heartbreak shadow Reese's every thought. He questions his strength, haunted by his perceived failures. Yet, in their grief, Jessica and Norah remind him of the sacrifices made to protect the world, urging him to see their fight not as a failure but as a testament to courage.

While parts of this story have been embellished to make it more engaging than the somewhat mundane reality of my life, I assure you the most important elements are true. Kingston was a real boxer dog who unknowingly became a part of my family in 2018.
