In May 1944, RCMP Mountie Miles Lundin is assigned temporarily to England to be indoctrinated into the most important secret of the war - the ULTRA intercepts. Instead, he is called on to solve a murder of a Canadian soldier just before the amphibious invasion of France - code named NEPTUNE.

It’s 1942, and body is discovered on the shoreline of a secret training facility in Canada. Secret or not, this is Canadian territory, and the murder case belongs to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Warned to expect suspicion, if not total obstruction, RCMP Miles Lundin must find a murderer in a camp of trained killers. Fortunately, he is joined in the investigation by a visiting “outsider” from Royal Navy intelligence, Lieutenant Commander Ian Fleming. The questions are clear: who and why? The answers, however, are as murky as the depths of Lake Ontario.

Mike4 is the call sign for Chief Warrant Officer Sue O’Connell - a Special Operations Force (SOF) surveillance specialist. She is the daughter of a pair of CIA agents and the granddaughter of a famous World War II OSS agent. She is part of a team that “finds and fixes in place” terrorists so that SOF assault teams can “finish” the target.

SOF intelligence operator Sue O’Connell, callsign MIKE4, returns to hunt down a terrorist network determined to acquire nuclear material for a dirty bomb. As part of that effort, Sue must rescue a kidnapped colleague someplace on the Syrian-Iraq border. Meanwhile, both her mother and her brother continue to face the threat of the vendetta with a Russian mafia family.

In 1943, Captain Peter O’Connell leaves the 82nd Airborne through a mysterious invitation and joins the first US Special Forces, the Office of Special Services (OSS). O’Connell soon realizes the OSS mission to support the Resistance in Occupied Europe is more than just sabotage and subversion. It also means staying alive behind the lines when you rarely know who is friend and who is your enemy. Reassigned to India in late 1944, Peter and his British colleagues work to destroy a Nazi sabotage ring based in Goa. Success in this operation uncovers O’Connell’s treasure.

Elizabeth Bankroft is a thoroughly modern teenager in the Edwardian age. She spends part of the year with her parents in British India and part of the year with her grandparents in England. When her parents decide to send her to a college, Elizabeth resents the idea of what she calls a “finishing school” in India. At the Viceroy’s College in the foothills of the Himalayas, “finishing” will take on a whole new meaning. The college is, in fact, the British India's school for spies.

Special Operations Intelligence Officer Sue O’Connell has found a way to break free from mundane office desk work. She and her colleagues from the SOF HUMINT cell are going to hunt down two Balkan war criminals visiting Germany.
