Literary fiction that explores, through its three main characters, the significance of faith and spiritualism in navigating the travails of life. The concept of détente shaped most of the Cold War, creating a fragile peace between the United States and the Soviet Union based on mutual assured destruction. Stability depended on both sides showing the ability—and the will—to achieve total annihilation. Imagine going to work knowing you might be called to kill millions. What kind of person could shoulder that burden?

What I had in mind when I wrote Thoughts from a Recovering Addict was to reach the addict who questioned him or herself about the reality of living a life Clean and Sober. I referred back to what it was like for me over the past 40 years and how hard it was for me to grasp the concept behind the material I was looking at. Thoughts came about for this reason. A simple but effective one step at a time bullet point about what went on in my mind throughout the different stages of my Recovery.
