    It’s so easy to get lost in this world.

    To forget. To give in. To go numb.

    There’s a deep integrity that doesn’t let us fake it. A quiet call that won’t go away. A devotion — not to what’s easy, but to what’s real.

    If that’s you — or someone you love — this is your invitation.

  • Inside the TIB Sound Studio
    Mar 11 2025

    Step inside my van-turned-sound-studio, where I spent over 50 hours recording, editing, and refining the audiobook for The Invitation Beyond. This was more than just reading words—it was a full-body performance, bringing the heart and soul of the book to life.

    Early listeners are loving it:

    ✨ “Your voice is great…AND to be clear, I listen to 3 audiobooks a month or so, I really do hear a lot. Great speed and I really appreciate when the author reads their own work.” – Kurt Marion

    ✨ “During my season of racing and being crazy busy with buying a business, your book is a lovely reminder to stay in my essence. It’s not a bad read for women either.” – Megan Holland

    I can’t wait to share this with you. This book is meant to be felt, and the audiobook brings it to life in a whole new way.

    If you’re excited to listen, drop a comment below! And if you’ve already read The Invitation Beyond, I’d love to hear what resonated with you.

  • TFTU - Onramp your spirit
    May 31 2024

    Training for the unkNOWn (TFTU). I had a spectacular day today. When that happens, things get really interesting.

    Three main points, and one bonus, about TFTU from today are:

    * on ramping your spirit

    * use nourishing self-talk

    * segment intending

    The bonus is the reminder and provocation to get, and stay, in action. Anything is better than nothing, and you’ll feel alive and proud once you engage (and the opposite if you don’t).

    Bring your TFTU to activities you love and use them as ways to put yourself under pressure, so you get better and better at being uncomfortable.

    Today for me was really spectacular. My legs and lungs were feeling good, which provided an onramp for my spirit to engage. The flow state allowed me to score many sweet goals, assist on loads of goals for others, and make really good hockey plays all over the ice.

    Damn it’s a blast playing this well and I noticed my confidence expanding and my self-talk flowing positively.

    But there are always bad moments, and I love these, because they offer the opportunity to engage my nourishing self-talk. Today I made many bad plays, but recovered really fast and made the next right play. Then the next beautiful play after that, allowing the Upward Spiral to get spinning. Stoping the negative is huge because when bad plays compound is where train wrecks start.

    In between shifts I review my time on the ice and use segment intending to make a clear intention for my next time on the ice. With the bad plays, the reminder is to play harder on the puck, make clear, decisive passes, but to be looking up before I do, and to keep my legs moving. With the good plays, the intention is to keep calm hands, being patient, using my eyes and vision, and keep being strong.

    This was the third game in three days, and my play got progressively better and they were all different. By continuing to show up and pay attention, I grow my baseline of the player and person I am. And I’m reminded how good it feels and how powerfully useful it is to bring TFTU alive, both by showing up day after day, and doing so with intention and joy.

    The provocation I offer today is to get, and stay, in action. Get yourself uncomfortable. Put yourself under pressure. And enjoy the feeling of being fully alive.

  • TFTU - Daily Practice - Perseverance
    May 29 2024

    Training for the unkNOWn (TFTU). Incredible things happen when I show up day after day. My daily practice is a huge gift. My commitment to it increases my self confidence and gets me ready to blast off into my life.

    Three main points about TFTU from today are:

    * Daily practice - keep showing up

    * Onramp

    * Catching hard moments and bad days

    I had a strong day today. I love playing hockey and life. What and opportunity to experience aliveness and happiness.

    By playing hockey 4 times this week I feel my perseverance. The consistency in playing allows me to navigate and distinguish between the good shifts and the bad shifts, okay days and spectacular days.

    The game slows down and gets easier, and I can onramp my desire to push myself. I’m able to push my legs and lungs because I’m familiar with how my body will react. I know how much gas I have in the tank, how I’ll respond, and when to use the extra juice for a play.

    Today I was able to work the boards to win pucks away from the other team (which takes a huge amount of energy), my anticipation was excellent both offensively and defensively, and I was finding lots of open space.

    I also busted my butt back defensively (yes, that’s an unusual thing in a pickup hockey game when everyone is focused on scoring, not defense), catching a younger guy through sheer effort, but I stopped one stride short. I let up right in front of the goal, the guy making the pass saw it, threaded a beautiful pass right to the dude whose sitck was literally inches in front of mine and he scored.

    I could have felt bad about this, focusing on the goal instead of the effort I made, and I did just enough to remind myself to finish what I start - the focus of my next shift.

    By showing up consistently I noticed a deep change happen inside myself. I moved away from an insecure holding of me to a curious and intuitive holding of me. Basically, I stopped worrying about whether I was doing the right thing or whether I belonged in the game, and began making (many good) plays.

    The moral of the story is show up. And keep showing up. You know you want to, so make it happen and then enjoy being flooded with confidence and gratitude for yourself.

  • TFTU - Creating Community
    May 27 2024

    Training for the unkNOWn (TFTU). The learning today is about Creating Community, an important component of TFTU.

    The main points about TFTU from today are:

    * Create community

    * Deep integrity

    * Do the training, so you’re ready when opportunity arrives

    Playing with good players makes a huge difference. Being around quality people makes life way more interesting, meaningful, and dynamic.

    Today, we played a great game. We scored bunches of beautiful and impressive goals. We made really strong hockey plays, and frustrated the other team. And there was a grace and an ease to it, because we each played our part. I didn’t have to overextend try to be something more than I am. I got to bring all my hustle, aggressiveness, and creative playmaking to the game.

    Life at the edge is so incredibly enjoyable.

    Because of my commitment to live life with deep integrity, I find myself around amazing people all the time. They challenge me to be better. I challenge them to be better. Together we drop into deep intimate, meaningful connection.

    To get there requires a devotion to TFTU. You have to establish your infrastructure of being good at discomfort and calm.

    Once you feel how sweet it is to play with really good players, and enhance the game with your contribution, your commitment to your practice will deepen and expand. Get to it, you’ll thank yourself later.

  • ABC’s - a wobble tool to connect the Real Me
    Apr 28 2023

    Stories

    * Recorded on a hilly 10K training run

    * ABC’s

    * My commitment to working my way into my Real You

    Lessons - Tools

    * ABC’s

    * Playing my physical and mental edge

    Today, I continue my run, and share the last of the 3 tools. The ABC’s. Up and Down more hills and to the edge of challenges.  I share another of the three tools I use when I feel the edge of difficulty.

    Tool #1 - Being relentlessly positive with myself

    Tool #2 - Tapping into Possibility Beyond Possibility.

    Tool  #3 (and the focus of this recording) - ABC’s

    In this case I am on a run, but my deep suggestion, encouragement, and practice is to use the ABC’s any day, any time, to get yourself back from any difficult moment. Back from that Bad Day and to your high flying disk. The High Flying disk of being connected to the powerful Real You.

    My incentive to share this run with you is to share my process of working my way to the place where I am Impeccable with my word to myself. Where there is no wobble in how I am talking to myself. There are days when this is easy and I go right there. But I hope it’s obvious by sharing while in some distress the kind of energy, creativity, perseverance, failure, compassion, and commitment it takes to get to the place where I am fully present and connected to my Real You.

    I had an absolute blast recording this while on my run and have many runs where I imagine sharing my process, my struggle, my adventure while on the edge of engaging. Or not engaging.

    Some of my most fun places in this podcast:

    * Being willing to go as far up the ladder of possibility as

    * Invitation to find my wobbling, and how I work through it

    * Search for Delicious place of being fully connected to myself

    * Sinking into the Sunrise

    * Connection to my dad - his exercises

    * Connecting to what is Possible Beyond Possible

    * Nap. Sleep. Trust.

    Today, I take you on a run with me.  Up and Down hills and to the edge of challenges.  First I explore, unexpectedly, Bad Days. How to handle the days that are just really difficult. Second, I share two of the three tools I use when I feel the edge of difficulty, in this case on a run, but that I suggest you can use any day, any time, to get yourself back from any difficult moment. Back from that Bad Day and to your high flying disk. The High Flying disk of being connected to the powerful Real You.

    The goal of the exercise, and every day is Being Extraordinary. What ever that means to you - to have an extraordinary day - whether that is dealing with depression or anxiety, going on a run, writing a book, connecting with your friends and partner, or being joyful, playful, fun, healthy, and alive.

    I share about how I use the work of Wim Hof and Abraham Hicks.

    You get to experience my process of listening to the energy that wants to come through.

    You get a glimpse of my unique Daily Practice.  My weaving my way into my Real You. That place in me that Gives a Huge Sh*t.

    Of how I talk to myself in a positive way. How I feel possibility.

    I share about the magnetic draw to feel bad, to be negative drawn into fear, anxiety loops in the US.

    My hope and intention is to inspire you to engage in this practice, your practice. To use this example of my way, my practice to help you play and create a meaningful practice for yourself.
