Drawing on the coroner’s reports and witness testimonies, Elizabeth Haynes builds a compelling picture of Harriet’s final hours through the eyes of those closest to her and the last people to see her alive.

Elizabeth Haynes kick started her writing career with the renowned writers challenge NaNoWriMo - an attempt to finish a novel of 50,000 words in one month. This was enough of a motivation to get her started and subsequent years saw repeated efforts, eventually resulting in what would become her first published novel Into the Darkest Corner.
